Cathy L. Baker has served as President and CEO of Baker Mortgage Company, Inc. since January, 1996.

Cathy came on board with Baker Mortgage Company in 1977. Her great grandfather was a builder, a lender and an insurance man. Her grandmother grew up in the business and later in life made her living, among various other entrepreneurial efforts, by collecting rent from a few small properties she had accumulated. Add that to an uncle who was an appraiser and real estate broker, and another who ran the insurance side of the company, it becomes evident that Cathy comes from a long line of entrepreneurs. From the time she began going to the office with her father on Saturday mornings as a little girl, she has literally been around the business all of her life.

Cathy holds an Associates Degree in Accounting.

She has earned the GRI designation, which stands for Graduate, Realtor Institute, awarded by the National Association of Realtors.

In May, 2008, she earned the CMC designation, which stands for Certified Mortgage Consultant, awarded by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. At this time, there are currently 21 in Texas and approximately 500 in the United States.

Member of the Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.

In 2005 she became a Conference attendee for Lobby Day at the Capitol in Austin, and in Washington, D.C. in April, 2005. She continues the Lobby trips to Austin and to Washington every year, and currently serves as the legislative Chair of the Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving since 1993.

April 2008 recipient of a nomination to the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Well known on Houston radio for many years, having been a guest or co-host on various radio talk shows covering the business of real estate. Provided live mortgage tips Monday through Friday afternoons on Business Radio for three years. Currently providing live tips on 700 AM KSEV Radio, as well as Sports Radio, 610 AM, and KPRC 950 AM.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Be An Angel Fund, Inc., and recently completed serving a second term as Chairman of the Board.

Member of the Advisory Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau in Fort Bend County.

Nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers in September, 2008.

Andy Pedder was born in England, about 30 miles west of London, where he went to College and studied Mechanical Engineering (HND). He practiced industrial instrumentation engineering in England for domestic and international applications. He then moved into domestic sales, international sales and marketing and on to direct responsibility for seven countries.

He began an interest in real estate in England by working hard to achieve his first home. He came to the US in 1985, where he continued his successful career in sales and marketing with several US companies, before changing course and devoting his full time and attention to real estate in 1997. During this time, his interest continued to grow in the real estate business, as he began to purchase privately held mortgages. His professional, hardworking and ethical approach to business continues to serve his clients today, as well as the wonderful people they refer.

Andy stays very active in real estate, and is currently associated with Re/Max Executives. He is very much into continuing education, and attends seminars and workshops on a regular basis, continually educating himself for the benefit of his clients. Andy also participates in buying and selling owner financed mortgages and other income streams for cash, in addition to assisting buyers and sellers wanting to purchase or sell real estate.

Andy is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the Houston Association of Realtors.

He is also a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Brokers.

Andy has earned the designation of GRI, which stands for Graduate, Realtor Institute.

Because of his varied experience, as well as being a former engineer, it is quite evident that Andy brings much more value to your transaction than the average real estate agent. His attention to detail is incredible, and his customers have seamless closings.

Andy works with both buyers and sellers of real estate. He works in various locations around the Greater Houston area, with a concentration in Sugar Land and Fort Bend County, as well as the Memorial area.

Since 2005, has made annual Lobby trips to both Austin and Washington, DC, working in connection with the National Associations to bring about better practices for the real estate and mortgage businesses.

Andy has been a resident of the greater Houston area, for over 20 years, and a resident of Fort Bend County for most of those.
